Đọc về triển lãm rô-bốt, nghe và nói về việc rô-bốt có thể và chưa thể làm, viết đoạn 50-60 từ.
Bài đọc: The International Robot Show
Last Saturday, Nam went to an international robot show in Da Nang. He saw five types of robots. Mimi is a home robot. She can cook meals, do the washing and iron clothes. Tutor T5 is a teacher robot. He can help children study and teach them English and maths. Rex is a worker robot. He is the strongest of all, and he can build houses and move heavy things. Doc D1 is a doctor robot. She can look after sick people. Star S9 is a space robot. It is the tallest and the most expensive robot at the show. It can build space stations on the Moon and on planets. Nam says, "Robots are very useful, but they can't understand our feelings."
Nghe và nói
Nghe: bài nghe là cuộc trò chuyện giữa Khang và Dr Adams về những việc rô-bốt làm được: look after sick people, understand what we say, build the very high buildings, teach many subjects, move heavy things. Em nghe, đánh dấu cụm từ nghe được rồi xác định câu đúng hay sai.
Nói: cùng bạn bàn xem rô-bốt có thể làm gì ở những nơi sau.

Viết đoạn 50-60 từ về rô-bốt em muốn có
- Tên rô-bốt (name).
- Loại rô-bốt (home, teacher, worker, doctor, space...).
- Nơi nó có thể làm việc (where it can work).
- Việc nó có thể làm cho em (what it can do for you; can + V).
Mẫu câu: *My robot's name is ... It is a ... robot. It can work in/at ... It can ... for me.* Có thể thêm một điều nó là nhất: *It is the ... robot in the world.*

Thực hành: đưa ý kiến về các câu như *Home robots are the most useful of all types of robots.* rồi nói đồng ý hay không và vì sao. Phần nghe trong *My robot's abilities*: các bạn kể về rô-bốt hiểu lời nói, dọn dẹp, tưới cây, làm bảo vệ.
Mở rộng
Rô-bốt hút bụi đã có ở nhiều gia đình Việt Nam. Rô-bốt làm việc trong nhà máy lắp ráp ô tô, xe máy. Tuy vậy, con người vẫn cần để sáng tạo và chăm sóc người khác.
